8000 Series Microscopes
The 8000 series microscope has been produced
to the highest optical and mechanical standards of both material and workmanship. This
series features an acid and regeant-resistant stand. It meets most research and advanced
teaching requirements. |
Features:
- Either an inclined monocular, 90° dual view (video), binocular head or trinocular head
-all fully interchangeable.
- Eyepieces are 10x widefield.
- The four position nosepiece has totally sealed construction and ball bearing movement
with precision stops.
- DIN achromatic objectives - 4x, 10x, 40x(R), and 100x(R) oil. (R=retractable)
(Planachromatic objectives available at extra cost.)
- Objectives are parfocal, and parcentered.
- 6 volt Halogen illumination with two element condenser and advanced electronics.
- Coaxial coarse and fine focusing, with planetary reduction gear system.
- Positive stops at both ends of travel to prevent damage to specimens or optics.
- Built-in mechanical stage allows smooth X-Y travel in 1mm graduations. Spring loaded
stage clamp for exact positioning of the specimen.
- Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift.
- Rack and pinion, adjustable 1.25 abbe condenser and iris diaphragm for resolution and
contrast control.
